Saturday December13th is the day. If you would like to help lay wreaths on the Veterand graves we will start around 11:45. Following the ceremony at the Decatur Veterans Park. Please join us at Sweetwater Cemetery on 380 East.

We will be laying wreaths around 11:45-12:00 following the ceremony at the Veterans Park in Decatur. Everyone is in welcome to help lay the wreaths. December 13th, 2025.

It’s not to late to purchase a wreath for Veterans buried in our local cemetery for Wreaths Across America. Let’s honor our Veterans. Here is the information below. Be sure to pick Sweetwater Cemetery in the drop down. The event is December 13th following the program at The Veterans park, we will meet at the cemetery to place our wreaths. Usually around 11:45 am to 12:00. Anyone is welcome.

Another year, we have our Homecoming service every year on the second Sunday in June. Everyone is welcome. Dr Jimmy Honer always brings us a good service and some of the greatest cooks in Wise County. Kay Bridges we missed you.

Laramie and I got the church building ready for Sunrise Service. Cheyenne got the window replace with the help of his friend Cameron McCandless. I thank them all. We have one Bluebonnet so excited

After the winds we just had consider visiting your loved ones grave. We had several ornament broken and flower blown all over the cemetery. I just picked up on the East end and will go back another day. There were a couple head stones fell over and we can not set them back up. The family will have to arrange that, to much liability. The windows in the church will be replaced soon, we are dealing with some damage at our house right now.
