Stride Ahead welcomes Cadie Cooper who will be interning with Stride Ahead for 12 weeks this summer.  She will be with us courtesy of the Agnes Scott Hubert Scholarship which is awarded to a few students each year to encourage lifelong careers in public service through experiential learning.  She will be helping with riding lessons and Shepherd Center sessions, and will assist in training new volunteers. 
Cadie grew up on a farm in Monroe, GA and is a lifelong trail rider.  She’s a rising senior at Agnes Scott College majoring in Political Science with a double major in Philosophy and English.

Huge thanks to our dedicated Blanketeers who, on the coldest winter nights, come to the barn and blanket our horses making them cozy and warm.  We appreciate you!
