📱 Save your parking location before heading into the festival grounds.
🍳 Start your day with a good meal at one of Decatur’s local restaurants before the music starts.
⏰ Give yourself extra travel time traffic will be heavier than usual throughout the weekend.
📸 Explore beyond the festival! Check out downtown Decatur, the Tennessee River, local shops and nearby attractions while you’re in town.

Today, Thursday September 24th at 10:00AM you can attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new sculpture at Walden Oaks Park.
Three cranes, ten cattails, and a few things you have to look for! This piece was hand-forged in steel by members of Athens Forge.
The piece is arranged as a crescent, roughly seven and a half feet across the front and four feet deep, so that the shape of a crane reads from any angle you walk up on it. The three birds are a family group rather than three copies at different scales: a full-grown adult, a juvenile, and a third bird headed off on its own. They are posed doing what sandhill cranes actually do. One reaches up to take something off a cattail. One is hunting fish at its feet. Ten cattails ring the perimeter, one for each of River Clay’s first ten years, each with a bundle of solid steel leaves twisting up around it.
