BB Perrins was founded in 1988 by Benny and Braxton Perrin. Benny Perrin played football for the University of Alabama and was on the 78’ and 79’ national championship teams coached by the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant where Benny was able to get the Game Ball in Coach Bryant’s 315 game making him the winningest coach in college football history. After Benny’s retirement from the NFL where he played 5 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals; Benny and Braxton learned to cook from the Amazing Pit Master Big John with Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa which led to BB Perrins development in the Beautiful Downtown Area of Decatur, Alabama.
