Hormones, gut health, and your symptoms can be more connected than you realize. Bloating, cravings, skin changes, and other recurring symptoms may be worth looking at as part of the bigger picture not in isolation.
Understanding the connection between gut health, hormones, metabolism, and symptoms can help you have more informed conversations about your health and your options.
Your symptoms are information. Learn to listen to what your body is telling you. ✨
Ferritin 15 doesn’t automatically mean your iron is “fine.”
New 2026 guidance from the American Society of Hematology recognizes ferritin ≤30 ng/mL as iron deficiency in most adults, with ≤50 ng/mL potentially relevant when symptoms or risk factors are present.
Fatigue, brain fog, hair shedding, and low energy can all be associated with iron deficiency—even when hemoglobin is normal.
If you’re told your labs are “normal,” ask about your full iron panel, not just hemoglobin.
Your lab results need context. 🩸

GLP-1s can be a helpful tool, but your daily habits still matter. ⭐
Think beyond the number on the scale: prioritize protein, strength training, fiber, hydration, and listening to your body. Your energy, strength, gut health, and overall well-being are part of the journey too.
✨ GLP-1s are a tool not the whole picture.
Save this as your GLP-1 gold star checklist! ⭐

Big health changes don’t always start with big changes. 🤍
It’s the small choices you make consistently what you eat, how you move, how you sleep, and how you manage stress that can add up over time.
You don’t have to do everything perfectly. Start small. Stay consistent.

The health advice I repeat the most isn’t always the most complicated. 👩🏽⚕️
It comes back to the foundations: eat enough protein, prioritize quality sleep, pay attention to your gut, manage stress, and build strength.
These habits may not feel exciting or trendy, but they can make a meaningful difference in how you feel and support your health long-term.
And no, that doesn’t mean you need to be perfect. Consistency beats perfection every time.🤍
Which one do you need to work on most right now?
Hormones and gut health are more connected than many people realize. ✨
Bloating, skin flare-ups, and intense sugar or carb cravings can sometimes be clues worth paying attention to especially when they seem to follow your cycle or stress levels.
Instead of treating each symptom separately, look at the bigger picture. Your symptoms are information.
Save this for later and share it with someone who needs to hear it. 💗
POV: They said AI was going to take my job… 😂
Cute. But when it comes to your health, there’s still nothing like a real doctor who listens, thinks critically, and understands the whole picture. 🩺💊
AI can assist. Your doctor still makes the call.

Your body is always communicating with you. ✨
Fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, sleep changes, or hormonal symptoms shouldn’t automatically be dismissed as “just getting older.” They’re worth understanding.
Listen to your body. Ask questions. Understand your options.
What’s one symptom you’ve been told you just have to live with? 💗
A new menopause study is adding to the conversation around timing and hormone therapy.
Researchers followed more than 2,700 women with hot flashes or night sweats for 20 years. The study found that women who started menopause hormone therapy had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, with an even greater reduction among those who started within 10 years of menopause.
But there’s an important distinction: this was an observational study, not a randomized controlled trial. It does not mean every woman should take hormone therapy for heart disease prevention.
What it does highlight is that timing, individual risk factors, symptoms, and overall health matter when having the HRT conversation.
Women deserve personalized, informed conversations about their options—not one-size-fits-all answers. ❤️

Everyone’s talking about GLP-1s but are we asking the bigger question?
GLP-1 medications can be an important tool for some patients, but understanding what’s driving cravings, insulin resistance, metabolic dysfunction, and gut health is an important part of the conversation.
Sometimes the right approach includes medication. Sometimes addressing the foundation can change the picture. And often, it’s about combining both thoughtfully.
