Introducing the 2026 Morgan County Leadership Hall of Fame Corporate Leader of the Year!
Calhoun Community College plays a vital role in supporting education and workforce development in Morgan County. Through dual enrollment programs, the college gives Morgan County Schools students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, helping them get a head start on their academic and career goals. Calhoun also partners with local schools to provide career technical education pathways, preparing students for high-demand fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, and information technology. In addition, the college offers professional development resources and transfer opportunities that benefit graduates pursuing four-year degrees. By working closely with Morgan County Schools, Calhoun strengthens the local education system and contributes to the economic growth of the community.

We are proud to announce our 2026 Community Leader of the Year! OneGen has been a valued partner to Morgan County Schools, supporting students and families by donating supplemental food and essential items to those in need. Their generosity has included providing drinks for schools and programs and ongoing support for the Morgan County Schools local food pantry located at the Rural Development Park. Over the past two years, OneGen has also supported the Mobile Food Pantry, helping feed up to 300 Morgan County families at each distribution. The contributions of OneGen play a critical role in reducing food insecurity, ensuring students and their families have access to nutritious meals, and allowing students to come to school better prepared to learn and succeed.

Today we are proud to congratulate our three outstanding scholarship winners! 🎓✨
These exceptional students were selected from an incredibly competitive and impressive pool of finalists. Each applicant demonstrated leadership, character, academic excellence, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Choosing just three was no easy task — a true testament to the strength and promise of this year’s group.
When we look at the talent, integrity, and determination represented in these students, we are reminded that the future of Morgan County is in very capable hands. The future is bright because of young leaders like these who are ready to work hard, give back, and make a difference.
Congratulations to our winners — and to all of our finalists — for representing Morgan County with excellence. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish! 🌟
