This retirement hits me hard. Joe Mannix is the person who talked me into running in 2018. He has been a coworker and friend for the past 31 years and a leader at the sheriff’s office for many years. He will be missed by all, but his funny demeanor and his ability to give you a nickname that sticks with you for years are unprecedented. Enjoy your retired!
