Dance Church

After a great eleven-year run, the signs are clear that it is time to let our monthly Dance Church gatherings end. It has been wonderful. Thank you.

Our FINAL Dance Church will be held on Sunday, March 10th. Please come dance with us one last time!

Dancing will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., ending with our closing circle a little before noon.

$5 suggested donation

Children are welcome as well, with no extra donation expected.

Dear Beloved Dance Church Community,

We wanted to let you know that Dance Church is in danger of ending, due to attendance not keeping up with an increase in rent at the studio. If Dance Church has meant something to you and you'd like to help keep it going, please consider: 1) attending [July 8th, and every 2nd Sunday of the month, 10:30a-12p]; 2) inviting several others to attend (especially those who have never heard of Dance Church); 3) dropping a little extra in the donation basket; and/or 4) making a donation.

Donations can be sent via PayPal to [email protected]. If you would rather, checks can be written to "Universal Table" and mailed to: Universal Table/DC, 411 Greenridge Circle, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. (If you prefer Venmo, please message us here for that "address.")

We will be increasing the suggested donation amount from $5 to $8, but (as always), no one will be turned away for lack of money. In the next few months we will see where we are financially and will send an update about whether we'll be able to continue or not. Hopefully we will find ourselves with a good financial cushion and if so will revert to the $5 charge.

Hi Everyone, this is Sara :) I used to use the profile "Dancer Friend" to invite you all to our events (always on the second Sunday of every month from 10:30-12 at Decatur School of Ballet). The events are just a way to remind everyone, and I needed to use a profile b/c a Page can't have "friends" and thus can't invite people to events. The other day my "Dancer Friend" profile was suddenly shut down by FB with no other option given (they said I was using my profile as a business, which of course I wasn't), so I've just created a new FB profile with my real name. If I'm no longer FB friends with you then I can't invite you to events, so if you'd like to be getting event invites to Dance Church each month then please comment below or send a message to this page and I'll send you a Friend Request so that I can start inviting you again. Thanks, and hope this made sense! ;)
