Decatur Garden Center is a family-owned and operated, full-service garden center that has proudly served the Wise County community since 2006.
We grow many of our own vegetables, flowers, herbs, and hanging baskets right here in our greenhouses. We carry large inventory of trees, shrubs, and seasonal color, along with a greenhouse dedicated to tropicals and houseplants. We also offer a full line of fertilizers, mulch, soils, and organic gardening products to help gardeners and homeowners create beautiful landscapes.

Pumpkin season is here!
🌱 Pre-emergent reminder!
If you haven’t made your fall pre-emergent application yet, now’s the time!
On average, late August through early September is a good window to apply pre-emergent (we’re pushing it! 😅) so it’s already in place and effective when soil temperatures reach around 70°F.
Pre-emergent helps prevent grassy and broadleaf weeds like crabgrass, dandelions, clover, henbit, chickweed, thistles, plantain, & more.
And don’t forget — water it in after applying! 💧
