GAMES!!! 🏀🏈⚾️🏓🪀🥅⛳️🪁🤸🏽♀️🩰🎳 What kind of games do you play with your children? Board Games, Video games, or Athletics??
There’s no time, you say? We get it! The key though is to MAKE time.
Playing games with your children is a key component to their learning. Not only does it give them a place to express creativity and experiment, it also promotes critical thinking skills and teaches how to interact and communicate with others!!
So many great things can come from regular game play!!! And it’s fun too!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
We have been so blessed to have some great Associate pastors join us at Decatur in recent years!
We’d like to extend our warmest thanks and love to our outgoing minister, Pastor Darrell Palmes and his family! Thank you so much for your support of our ministry! May God bless you and your family in everything you do!! We’ll miss you!!!
Today we welcomed Pastor Jamil Adams and his family into our DCCN family!! Looking forward to all God has in store for us on this new journey together!!

Hey hey family!!! Check out these 5 ideas to help make the Sabbath a delight🤗 Happy pre Sabbath!!!!!
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢
1. Create several stations around the house where different Sunday activities take place, such as watching church videos, reading church magazines, writing letters to missionaries, making cookies for others, creating visual aids for tomorrow’s Family Home Evening lesson, etc. Use a timer and have the family rotate through the stations every 15 minutes or so.
2. Make “Quiet Books” using photographs of your family members being reverent in different ways. Small children can look at the books during Sacrament meeting to remind them to be reverent.
3. Make a collage or draw pictures showing your blessings.
4. Make charts for family members to show their progress in scripture reading or memorizing certain passages.
5. Make puzzles out of pictures from old church magazines.
