We had a great time at the annual conference last week in Houston. Congrats to the students who had featured posters and oral presentations. We were excited to see 3 posters from students showing preliminary results for work that includes our West Texas Mimms Unit. #

It’s been hard work breaking ice and maintaining water availability to the cattle, horses, sheep and dogs on the ranches. Despite the cold, everything is doing well. Thanks to our committed ranch managers!

Dixon Water Foundation is pleased to support Pollinator Research by UNT’s Biology Department. Today Professor Elinor Lichtenberg‘s masters student Avery Pearson is doing her fieldwork at our North Texas Ranches. What a beautiful fall day to be out with a big net looking for insects. Keep up the great work!
