Had a great day working with one of my good friends and co-workers, Rebecca Dubach.

May was a pretty exciting and eventful month. I had friends graduate, get married, perform at Soulstock and more! June is expected to be even more epic as I begin a new documentary project. Here are some shots of J. Forgiven at Soulstock!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

Project 365: It was fun the first 14 days! ! However, those two weeks did help me through a bit of a slump. I simply did not have the drive to do anything before the challenge but as an artist I know I must be aware of the world around me and take advantage of it while I still can.

For some of these girls, this was their last formal before graduating and I was honored to be asked to take their photos.

Day 6: Those days of missing the gym made themselves evident today. I did legs a few days late and I definitely felt them today. So, after work and dinner I found myself finding refuge on my couch, which is where I took this photo of my sister, Alisha. A pretty uneventful day but I'm always glad when Alisha visits; she definitely makes her presence known!

Day 3: My cold symptoms continued to get worse on Monday. I had a swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck causing some serious pain but I knew it was my body's defensive reaction to the infection so i just tried to bear it. It got worse when I went to the hospital to visit my grandfather, who hadn't been doing too well. I was able to see many of my out-of-town aunts and uncles who were also at the hospital seeing my grandfather. It is always nice for family to come together but unfortunately it isn't always under the best of circumstances. The family had a get-together later that night however by that time my the pain in my lymph node got to point where i just needed to go home and sleep it off.

Day 4: I felt much better today, still experienced some lymph node pain but nothing like the night before. Not much happened today except for a shift at Old Navy and a visit to my friend Blake's house. I find myself at his house a lot these days especially since this little guy joined his family. His name is Pepper and as this photograph suggests, he is literally always in your face. He is a great dog and usually cheers me up whenever I see him...too bad he only annoys Blake when he goes outside and jumps the fence and runs around the neighborhood! ^_^

Day 5: I felt great today! Almost 100% better! I finally got back in the gym which I had missed 5 days prior due to my cold! It is my goal to be a competitive bodybuilder so missing workouts is something I do not want happening often. After the gym it was time for church. I'm the worship leader and a counselor at The Current Youth Ministry at Grace River Community Church. I love working with the youth and have a passion for helping a new generation understand what it means to live a victorious life in Christ. We have an amazing group of kids and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
