❌PAY CREDIT CARD TWICE A MONTH MYTH❌

✅There is only ONE reporting date per month on each tradeline. This is called your "Statement Date" or “ Reporting Date” …So even if you made 20 payments in one billing cycle it would still be reported as ONE on-time payment for the month.

✅On your credit report, there's only a slot for "PAID" or "LATE/MISSED" for every month on each tradeline. There isn't a single area that allots for "Consumer made 2 payments" 👀therefore the quantity of payments does NOT matter only the total balance you left over against your credit limit (utilization) matters.

✅Now, let's dicuss why your score MAY have increased if you've done this - making multiple payments means that you lowered your utilization, the lower your utilization, the more your score will increase. It isn't a science to "tricking" the credit bureaus because had you made one payment that equaled the same exact amount as the two payment you strategically made would have yielded the EXACT same results.

✅You don't have to stress yourself out about making one payment exactly 15 days before your due date and another one exactly 3 days before your statement date because as long as your utilization is below 25% you're doing all you need to do rather that's you making 3,6,9 or 10 payments that month.
