his afternoon, we had the privilege of celebrating some of the area’s most outstanding students at Heartland Technical Academy!

We’re incredibly proud to teach and support these future leaders, and it's an honor to have them in our classes. From our front office to our teachers, everyone is beaming with pride over the incredible work these students have accomplished this school year.

Today we proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of our students at the Student Recognition Awards!

Students from Heartland Technical Academy, representing high schools across our community, were honored for their hard work, leadership, and dedication. Awards included Student of the Year in each class as well as schoolwide honors for exceptional leadership across all programs.

For career week our Digital Entrepreneurship student Lily went back to her old school at Johns Hill to talk about how she started up her freelance media business from the skills she learned in class.

HTA programs taught by RCC teachers (Diesel Mechanics, Engineering Tech, and HVAC) will follow the RCC calendar for the 24-25 school year.
All other programs are taught by HTA instructors and will follow the HTA school calendar, with the exception for the start day. We would like all students (regardless of program) to attend on the first day of classes, the 13th. This allows opportunity to go over the class syllabi, classroom expectations, and finish any registration that students did not complete over the summer.

The last day of students some of the classes decided to have some fun and put on the Banana Olympics.
