I saw the movie The Forge on yesterday. I enjoyed the movie and the message.

My 3:00am Morning devotion:
It Comes with the Calling / Assignment.

If you are going to be used by the Lord, you will go through a Process. The process is not just to prepare you for the calling or assignment, oftentimes the process is in the calling and assignment. They are tied to the hip. Like honey and bees, you can't have one without the other. The process and the calling are connected, they go hand in hand.

Moses was chosen by God, but he had to endure a process before he was called upon. Joseph had a dream but first, he had to be processed, David was called and anointed but he had to go through a process before he was crowned.

In Luke 22:31-34, Jesus told the Apostle Peter, you have a process connected to your upcoming ministry, however, I will be praying for your faith during the sifting process, and when you come out, you will be equipped to be effective in the calling. Peter responded by saying, I am ready right now, what he didn’t understand was that there was a process connected to the assignment.

Luk 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith faileth not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luk 22:33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. Luk 22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the c**k shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
