What was your first RC vehicle?

Mine was the Radio Elecon FIREFOX
They made two different colors, a red one (like I had) and a silver one.

Due to frequencies you could not run a red Firefox against a red Firefox cause they were on the same frequency (27.095 Frequency) (silver ran on 27.195 frequency)you had to run a red Firefox vs a Silver Fire Fox.

This was before rechargeable batteries were really around (1980) it ran on 4AA (radio) and 6 C Batteries(vehicle)

40 years ago this Christmas I received a Tamiya Frog. This was the start of it all.

After Christmas I broke the servo saver and we went to EJ’s Trains and Hobbies to get a replacement part. EJ had a box of RC cars sitting on the counter. We asked about the box and he said he was going racing. That is where we found out about Rocky Mountain RC Raceway (52nd & Sheridan) the rest is RC history!
