We are a community of Christ followers who are being transformed by God through the power of the Holy Spirit. We meet in Decatur, GA, but First Baptist folks live and minister all over the Atlanta metro area. We exist:
To know and love God;
To befriend people who feel disconnected from God;
To grow believers into mature Christ-followers;
To serve Decatur and the world in the way of Jesus

SATURDAY:
🕊 STAND for Peace (10 am-1pm): STAND is an advocacy organization born out of North Decatur United Methodist. This year we are hosting their second ever STAND For Peace event on our front lawn. We'll have music, storytelling, children's activities, food vendors from our immigrant and refugee communities, and more!
📚 Beloved Community Book Club (10 am-12 pm): We'll be discussing Brian Goldstone's "There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homelessness in America." For more information, the full book club schedule, and registration, visit our website.
SUNDAY:
👪 Parents Bible Study (10-11 am): Join us to discuss matters of faith and parenting. Parents are the most important humans in their child’s life of faith, and they need all the support they can get! We'll meet the second Sunday of every month.
❤ Youth Service Day (2-4 pm): Youth, come help your community! We'll be mulching a property this weekend to support A Home for Everyone in DeKalb.
