Our kitchen is now done.

Our kitchen floor was put in today. We bought the planks and had it installed by Malone Flooring of Decatur, Indiana. Only thing left to do is add a threshold that I forgot to get. So happy with the results.
Cabinets was installed and all other wood tables and whatnot I built through our time in this house.

Bought this older tool box at an local auction and cleaned it up and restored it to last for many years

After months of trying to get a trim carpenter to come and finish the trim we decided to take down the trim. And honestly I like it withiut the trim. I did add led strip light to the top of the cabinets and now my wife can put trinkets up there. Yesterday I did work on adding the corner cabinet trim but kept having issues is I thought the best thing to do was just take it down.

The last stage in our kitchen remodel we picked up from Menards last week. Gotta love the rebate cards. Getting this done by a local professional flooring company.

Work has had me busy but I did make one of these for my side thanksgiving. My wife wanted one and nownthatbshe has one she wants two. So looks like back to the garage.

Kitchen remodel is 80% done. We need to decide on the backsplash, the flooring, and once the new piece of crown trim comes(and I get someone to cut the angles better than me ) it will be 100% done. The kitchen remodel is at a point were we can use our kitchen as a full kitchen. It has been some long nights and inconvenient at times but well worth it.

I have been busy and don't post. But cabinet uppers are in and paint is all done.

We've finally wrapped up the drywall and are ready to move on to the fun part - painting! This Sunday is the day!

My grandma's pool has a rust hole on the side panel and we managed to repair it. We applied a metal patch with automotive seam sealer.

Demolition is finally complete! The bulkhead is gone and the kitchen feels so much more spacious. Drywall installation starts Monday.
