🍁 RANDOM FACTS FRIDAY!

Think cooler temperatures are what make the leaves change color? Not exactly! 🍂

As the days get shorter and trees receive less sunlight, they begin producing less chlorophyll—the green pigment in leaves. As that green fades away, those beautiful yellows, oranges, and reds get their chance to show off. 🍁

So those gorgeous fall colors were basically hiding there all along. How cool is that?

👇 What’s your favorite fall leaf color—red, orange, or yellow?

🍂 Hello, October!

A new month, a new season, and plenty to look forward to.

October brings cooler evenings, football weekends, fall festivals, Halloween fun, changing colors, and that little shift in the air that finally makes it feel like fall has arrived. 🏈🍁

It’s also a good reminder that a new month doesn’t have to mean a complete reset. Sometimes it just means a fresh chance to enjoy what’s ahead, make a few good memories, and keep moving forward.

Here’s to October and all the good things it brings!

🎙️ WOULD YOU RATHER WEDNESDAY — Podcast Edition!

In honor of International Podcast Day, we’ve got a tough one for all our podcast people. You can only listen to ONE type for the rest of your life. 😳

🔎 A — TRUE CRIME
Mysteries, plot twists, suspicious alibis…and saying “I knew it was him!” when you absolutely did not. 😂

OR

😄 B — FEEL-GOOD
Funny stories, inspiration, interesting conversations, and the kind of episodes that leave you in a better mood.

🎧 Which are you choosing—A or B?

And more importantly, what podcast are you listening to right now that the rest of us need to know about? Drop it in the comments! 👇

☕ Happy National Coffee Day!

Around here, coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s sometimes part of the morning game plan. 😂 Whether you’re walking in with a hot cup, an iced coffee, or something so sweet it could technically qualify as dessert, today is your day!

Now for the important question…

HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR COFFEE? 👇

☕ Black
🥛 Cream & sugar
🧊 Iced
🧁 Sweet enough to count as dessert
🚫 Don’t drink it

And bonus points if you tell us your go-to coffee order or your favorite local place to grab one!

Happy National Coffee Day from all of us at The Patrick Johnson Agency! ❤️

✨ Motivation Monday

A little Monday reminder from Zig Ziglar:

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” — Zig Ziglar

How often do we put something off because we’re waiting for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or to feel completely ready?

Sometimes the hardest part is simply starting.

Make the call. Start the project. Take the first step. Try the new thing. You can figure out the rest as you go. ❤️

Here’s to a new week, new opportunities, and making it count!

🌅 SUNDAY SCAPES | Texas Hill Country

Wide-open views, rolling hills, a winding river, and a Texas sunset that seems to go on forever. Sometimes the best part of a beautiful view is how small it makes everything on your mind feel.

Today, give yourself permission to slow down a little. Take in the view. Enjoy the quiet.

💬 Have you ever visited the Texas Hill Country? If so, tell us your favorite spot!

💕 WHY WE LOVE IT HERE — Power of Pink

Some events are about more than gathering together—they’re about showing up for our community.

The Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation’s Power of Pink Luncheon & Fashion Show brings our community together each year in support of breast health and the women and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

We’re especially proud that The Patrick Johnson Agency is a 2026 sponsor of this incredible local event. 💗

This is exactly why we love it here: a community that shows up, gives back, and takes care of its own.

🎀 Here’s to another wonderful Power of Pink!

🦦 FRIDAY RANDOM FACT!

Okay, this one might be my favorite yet. ❤️ Sea otters sometimes hold hands while they sleep so they don’t drift away from each other!

They may also wrap themselves in kelp to help stay anchored while they rest—which somehow makes the whole thing even cuter. 😂

Basically: “You’re not floating away on my watch.”

👇 Now tell us—what random animal fact always makes you smile?

🍂 THURSDAY FAVORITE!

Everybody has that one thing that makes it officially feel like fall. What’s yours?

🏈 Friday night football
🎡 Fall festivals
🧁 Baking your favorite fall treats
🔥 Bonfires & s’mores
🍁 Decorating for fall
🎃 Pumpkin picking
—or maybe you have a tradition that didn’t make our list!

For me, fall doesn’t officially start until __________.

👇 Fill in the blank in the comments! I have a feeling we’re going to get some good ideas from this one.
