🎉 Today we CELEBRATE Mrs. Janie (top right in the picture of PPS’s awesome admin!) Janie has been on mission with PPS for FIFTEEN years! WOW! She’s Decatur’s DYNAMITE Director and leads so beautifully because she serves so well! Janie is a GREAT example to her team (and all those around her) of what loyalty, hard work, priority, organization, compassion, humility and LOVE are (all “ingredients” to make a mission possible & successful!) It is a complete JOY and HONOR to celebrate you, Janie, and we’re so thankful God brought you to PPS 15 years ago - first serving as our Infant caregiver - shining bright even then! ⭐️ THANK YOU for being YOU! ❤️

PPS kiddos wrapped up the first month of the new school year learning about community helpers! They had special visits from a fireman, paramedic, army man, garbage collector & baker! AWESOME! Last week was all about GOD’S HELPERS, and they learned about Abraham, Moses, Queen Esther and Jesus (who “built a bridge” to bring us back to God) to name a few! 🙌 September’s theme is 🎉CELEBRATING ME, the APPLE of God’s eye…a study all about body parts, emotions, manners, and we wrap up launching into a Fall sensory experience! 🍂🎃🍎

🚌 Our first two weeks of the new semester were a HIT! This year, we’ve enhanced our curriculum by including more SCIENCE & DISCOVERY exploration with rotating - THEMED - tubs : 1. water (pouring, measuring, mixing, etc.) 2. sensory 3. measuring (scales, weights & magnets) and 4. “through different lenses” (color blocks, mirrors & magnifying glasses!) 🎉 We’re honoring one AWESOME “wonder woman” today… Miss Megan, Early Learner’s teacher at PPS Aurora! Miss Megan celebrates her - get ready - 15-year anniversary today! WOW! 🎉!! She has been at our Aurora school since nearly the beginning and has helped us establish a place of excellence in the community! Miss Megan is dedicated, loving and a master at potty training 🙌😉 and has been a staple part of so many families’ lives these past 15 years!! Megan, it is a JOY to honor you! We value and appreciate you so much! ❤️❤️

🎉 🎉 Today we celebrate two AWESOME Aurora ladies: Mrs. Amy (super Support staff) & Ms. Susan (terrific Toddler caregiver)! Both celebrate their 1-year anniversary at Pettit today; however, both were a part of the Pettit team previously for SEVERAL years (Amy 9.5 years and Susan nearly 5 years), and we are so thankful God brought them back to us! ❤️

Our school age kiddos wrapped up their SUPER summer studying CREATION ☀️ with a trip to the Giraffe Inn and Safari🦒 , color-FULL relays 🎨 and watermelon explosions 🍉 - BOOM (that does it!!) 😉 We’ll be back at it again next summer! Here’s to a super successful school year! 🙌

🎉 Super happy one-year anniversary to two AWESOME Aurora ladies: Mrs. Soli and Ms. Melissa! We are super grateful for each and the unique gifts she brings to help make the PPS mission so excellent! ❤️❤️

🍎 Our Fall semester starts Monday, August 10th, and it will be our BEST yet! Come GROW with us! ❤️

🎉 SUPER happy anniversary to three awesome women today: Tara Moore, Executive Director (🎉 19 years w/ PPS today 🙌), Mrs. Heather, Pre-K, Aurora (🎉 her one-year anniversary today) & Miss Celia, Toddlers, Decatur (🎉 1-year also!) I am so thankful for each of these women & her commitment to the PPS mission! (See below for more!) 😉

🎉 For our 20th birthday, each school drew three families for a $100 tuition credit for next week!💰And the winners are (🥁 roll please)…
