DECATUR PREDATOR HUNT 2020

Location: 264 Private Road 2453, Decatur, Tx 76234
Enter at ______$200.00 main pot, ($20.00 each side pot) by cash, PayPal, Venmo, or Square for debit and credit card. Checks must be mailed in and received before March 20th. PayPal is [email protected] and Venmo is @mauryfolsom. Entries are accepted until March 20th at 6pm. Any entry after, another $60(for side pots) will be tacked on for late fee up until 1 hour before contest on March 21st.
Point System: Coyote-5Bobcat-4 Gray Fox-3 Wild Hog(All species)-0.25
24 Hour Hunt: Hunt starts 12:00 noon Saturday and ends 12:00 noon Sunday. 12:01pm on Sunday isdisqualification (No Refunds)
3 Animal Cap: Coyote, Bobcat, Gray Fox 8 Animal Cap: Wild Hog(all species)
Tie Breaker: Most head shots will be the first tie breaker. (Only 3 animals count towards tie breaker). If stilltied after head shot count, it will go to combination of heaviest coyote and bobcat combined.
Payout:1-5 teams: 1st 100% 6-10 teams: 1st – 65%, 2nd – 25% 11+ teams: 1st – 60%, 2nd – 20%, 3rd-10% Side Pots: Heaviest coyote, heaviest bobcat, most head shots (1shot, 1kill: head shots can be used outside of 3 animal cap. Judges will search animal for other shots. If more than one bullet hole is found, that head shot does not count). If there is not a winner of side pot, side pot will go to overall funds.
RULES:
1.All hunting regulations, game, state, and federal laws apply and WILL BE abided by.
2.All hunters must have valid and legal hunting license issued by TPWD.
3.Contest is state wide and must abide by these outlines and entry form outlines.
4.Coyote, Bobcat, and Gray Fox must be called in and shot within the 24-hour time.
5.Wild Hogs MUST NOT BE and WILL NOT BE trapped for # of kills.
6.Team members must hunt together at all times during contest
7.No pooling of animals
8.No night vision or thermals
9.Animals will be checked for multiple bullet holes after headshot is detected
10.Animals will be check for freshness and trap marks
11.No hunting over known baited areas
12.Anyone caught cheating will be FOREVER disqualified from participating in Decatur Predator Hunts
13.ALL HUNTERS MUST BE PRESENT FOR WEIGH IN.
14.Each team is responsible for disposal or harvesting of each animal. Anyone found, seen, or heard to have dumped animals illegally will never be allowed to enter again.
15.Money earners may be subject to a polygraph test.
