Beginning this Sunday, April 12, we will return to one unified worship service at 10:30am. We look forward to gathering together as one congregation each week. Sunday School will begin at 9:15am.

Join us for our Good Friday service on Friday evening, April 3rd, 6:00 PM,. We'll gather to spend time singing and giving thanks to the Lord, as we recognize and mourn the death of our King Jesus.

Mark your calendars for our annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 4th, at 10:00 AM, at DPC, rain or shine! Please bring a basket. Parents are welcome to come to the egg hunting if you would like to watch! See you then!

How did we get the Bible? Why should we trust it? And how does God actually use it to change us?

As part of our “Rooted to Grow” focus this year, this session will center on Scripture: how we received it, why we can trust it, and how God uses it to shape and strengthen His people.

Together, we’ll explore how the Bible was recognized and preserved, how the church has historically understood its authority, and how the Lord uses His Word in the ordinary means of grace to grow us in Christ. This will be an accessible and practical evening, meant to build confidence in God’s Word and help you engage it more faithfully in your daily life.

Whether you’re newer to the faith or simply want to strengthen your foundation, this gathering is for you. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow.

At this time, the weather forecast for Decatur shows temperatures staying above freezing until later tomorrow afternoon. With that in mind, we plan to have our full, normal schedule tomorrow morning.
As always, please use good judgment and make sure you’re able to travel safely. Our livestream will be available for anyone who needs to stay home.

Tomorrow we'll have one service at 10:45am (Sunday School will take place at its regular time). The elders have also called a congregational meeting to be held immediately after worship for the sole purpose of electing men to the office of Ruling Elder and Deacon. All communing members in good standing are encouraged to participate in the meeting and vote.
