This weekend at the Singing Smoke O Rama in Athens we cooked and had the best time! We didn't do so great in the meats this weekend but we "think" (Dee thinks hehe 🙃) that we just need to clean out the ole drum. But we did have the best time.

We got FIRST place in Anything But- Lamb Chops with made from scratch chimichurri. We TIED for first in a three way tie for dessert which was a made from scratch white chocolate banana pudding.

We got 7th place Steak on Friday night as well!!

Thank you for keeping our fires 🔥 burning and for the holy trinity seasoning for our lamb chops! Thank you for our chicken thighs and our ribs. And of course for the rubs and say my name clucker!!

Tonight at the Singing River Smoke O Rama BBQ cooking competition we had a steak turn in!!

We will know later how we did, but we are pretty proud of it and that flavor profile was pretty amazing I must say.

This weekend we knocked the dust off and went to BBQ championship. It was the first one of the season for us! We got to see all our old friends and compete against the best of the best.

Friday night was the one meat competition and we went head to head with pros and bbq combined.

We got 5th in chicken against 88 teams!! We are so exuded that. We got 43 in ribs but our score was 168 so we weren't too upset.

Also Friday night Scott was presented with an amazing gift from Alan with him snd his wife honor veterans and his wife makes these amazing quilts and they honored Scott with this one! So amazing!

Saturday we were back at it competing with the best of the best in backyard .

Dessert out of 180 teams we got -13th!!!!

I'm so proud of us! Thank you for keeping our fires 🔥 going, thank you for the Greenwise chicken thighs, and thank you for the ribs!

We got some work to do but I'm confident we can do it!
