Happy Diwali (or Deepavali) everyone! 🪔 While Diwali is technically a 5 day celebration (with the third day being the primary day of celebration for many) that does vary in name for some. We’ve come to celebrate this occasion and those who celebrate it!
We encourage people to do their own research regarding the intricacies and diversity within the celebration, that simply cannot be diluted or included in one simple Instagram post.
Happy Diwali, Deepavali, Dewali, Tihar, Kali Puja, Bandi Chhor Diwas, and Swanti! 🪔🪔🪔

Immigrants are the backbone of America. Their rights are our rights, we cannot have progress if one group’s rights are infringed upon.
This is a call for everyone to have grace, not just those victims to this raid but the countless others who have had their voices stolen. Stay informed and stay up to date.

Like most election seasons, this one is bittersweet. We must remember not to lose hope and forget why we organize. It isn’t because our goals are achieved by electing a candidate. We know how important it is to support our community. To and the Harris-Walz team, it was a beautiful opportunity to rally behind hope when it seemed to be lost; that hope is still alive with us. To our endorsed candidates and whose races didn’t go as we wanted, we are so proud to be part of the youth coalition your campaigns inspired; we are excited to see your faces in the future. To our endorsed candidate , we are so excited to see you continue organize and do the work that matters. To and who advised us in our campaigning and housed our efforts, thank you so much for your dedication and support to youth voices. To the whole caucus, this was an incredible few months of rallying, campaigning, collaborating, and working. Thank you all!

On October 26th, a Neo-N@zi organization known as the Ary@n Freedom Network organized an event in Lexington, Georgia which they called the Ary@n Fest.
The Young Democrats of Georgia AANHPI Caucus strongly condemns this organization and this event.
Far-right aggression, terrorism, and organizing has risen in past years and continues to be a danger to all communities, especially to minorities.
The event was hosted by Georgia Haynie III, a Machine Shop Manager at the University of Georgia, and Shannon Haynie, founder and President of the Board for Schatzkind Services Co, a Neo-Nazi pregnancy crisis housing project.
Please contact University of Georgia administration below and notify them that they are currently staffing an active Neo-Nazi.

We must continue to come together in calling out, condemning, and fighting far-right aggression and extremism.
