LEADERSHIP IN ACTION - DeKalb Public Health’s LEAD DeKalb joined DeKalb County commissioners as May was officially proclaimed “Active People, Healthy DeKalb” Month. This initiative is a major milestone for the Walk It Out physical activity education and awareness campaign and the CDC’s national effort to get 27 million Americans moving by 2027. Together, we’re making a Healthier You for a Stronger DeKalb! (L-R) Commissioner Ted Terry , Commissioner Michelle Long Spears, Dr. Asia Foster, Erika Cotton, Jacquelyn E.
