Well… I’m kicking myself for not taking any pictures today at the market! We were selling before the event “officially” started and the first item to sell out was my Apple Oatmeal Cream Pie Cookies! We continued giving samples and getting feedback on them all day. Big Hit! Almost sold out of everything today, which makes packing up so much easier. Thanks for supporting us today! I am soooo excited for the market tomorrow at Cambridge Square in Ooltewah, TN! I will have so many goodies and you can try before you buy! We will have a taste of Fall weather tomorrow too with lower temperatures so it will be a great day to get outside. Based on my son’s reaction to sampling these, they will fly off the shelf! I’ve made these apple oatmeal cookies for many years and today I thought I’d try making them into oatmeal cream pies with my cinnamon roll frosting. Y’all! These are so delicious! Come get a sample at Cambridge Square this Saturday September 12 from 11-4.

Bradley Square Mall Farmers Market! Highlight

Today is the day!

A couple of years ago I was tasked with preparing breakfast for 150 inner city kids in Belize City for a mission trip. I had to prepare it in a village 45 minutes outside the city and figure out a creative way to keep it warm and make it something quick and filling for the youth attending the mission event. These Bacon Cheddar Biscuits fit the bill! Two of us made 300 biscuits to hand out to the kids! We wrapped them individually in foil and placed them in an insulated cooler to keep them warm til we could pass them out. They were a big hit with the kids and our team. I was amazed that people just kept coming back to the food table for more ALL day and we still had plenty left at the end of the day to send home with the kids to share with their families. These are a staple at our house and one of my favorite quick breakfasts to grab cause it already has protein in it and they reheat so well! These will be available at the Cleveland Market and I’ll have some samples for y’all to try! The are 6 in a box for nine dollars. Come try them tomorrow, This Thursday at Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland TN from 3-7pm!
