Remember that April is Sexaul Assault Awareness Month. You can show you care by doing as little as wearing teal this month in honor of SA survivors… that’s every 1 in 6 women and every 1 in 33 men.

💡Did you know?: Every minute someone in the US in sexually assaulted. Every 9 minutes… that someone is a child.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and here in Lawrence County, resources are in place to support victims and their families. One of those is the Mental Health Association in Morgan County’s REACT program which provides sexual violence prevention and education programs for victims as well as other support services. MHA is the only sexual assault crisis center serving Lawrence County.
