Last week blew us away…to all who came for one last coffee, shared kind words and wrote incredibly thoughtful cards, and have been so supportive of our little shop over the years, THANK YOU! Y’all are the reason we’re glad we started and the reason we’re sad to see it end. But we’re so grateful for our time here and the memories we’ve made along the way.

Friends, we have some really tough news to share. We’ve dreaded making this announcement, but we have decided not to renew our lease that is ending in March. Beam Roast’s last day of business will be Saturday, March 8.

This has been an agonizing decision for us, but we feel it’s the best choice for us and for the business for a lot of reasons, both personally and financially.

Our biggest concern was not wanting to let down this community we’ve come to know and love, because every person who has ever walked through our door or ordered online has played such an important and special part in Beam Roast’s journey, from a tiny roastery to a full-blown coffee shop.

We don’t regret a single moment of these past 3+ years and we’re sad to see this chapter in our lives coming to an end, but we’re so incredibly grateful for our time here and proud of what we built together.

There is still over a month left to come by and see us for more coffee or grab one last bag of beans, so until then, we’re gonna !

Here we go again! With the temps dropping tonight and the potential for slippery walkways, we’ve decided to call it a week. See you Tuesday! ☕️

Hey, friends. We’ve decided to close for today (1/10) due to the weather and for everyone’s safety. Y’all stay warm and we’ll keep you posted about tomorrow!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We enjoyed the break to spend time with family, and we’re excited to be BACK to regular hours this week, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day! 🎉🎆 Come see us tomorrow - we know you’ll need the caffeine boost to stay up ‘til midnight!! ☕️✨

With the holiday season upon us, we wanted to give y’all plenty of heads up on our hours starting next week and beyond:
-Closed on Thanksgiving
-Open 7-11am Friday the 29th
-Regular hours Saturday the 30th on thru Saturday, Dec. 21
-Closed Dec. 24-28
-Back open at regular hours starting Tuesday, Dec. 31

This month, we’re celebrating THREE years since Judah first started Beam Roast as a tiny roastery out of our garage. 🥳

We have some fun memories to share of those early days of what has now become the roastery/coffee shop you know and love today! We’re proud that our coffee is roasted right here in Decatur, always fresh for you. ☕️🧡

We can’t wait to open again tomorrow! We’re back to our regular hours this week. Thanks for allowing us the time to spend with family - it was refreshing to take a break but we’re looking forward to seeing you all back this week! ☕️
