Kennel life is 24/7, sometimes busy and tiring, with lots of cleaning and upkeep, worrying about and caring for every guest until they are no longer our responsibility and go back to their owners, but seeing the dogs have a good time makes us smile. Days spent with good dogs make our hearts feel lighter. I love that we can be here for them and hopefully take some of the burden away when you need a trip and a sitter or when emergencies come up and you need care for your dog. Whatever the reasons, I’m happy we are trusted with these guests of ours. I’m glad we can be here and help the people we know and the new ones we’ve met along the way!

Charlie is a high-drive Labrador Retriever! He's been staying as a board and train guest, working on leash manners and off-leash recall. Yesterday evening, he got to show off some of what he's learning under many distractions. While on a leash, he practiced being in a calm sit while other dogs passed by; some were reactive, but Charlie sat like a gentleman beside Mike and followed his lead. He's energetic, fun, and he's really enjoying getting to learn. We all like learning and mastering things; I believe it's the same for dogs.
