Medlock Monarchs 16U gets off to a great start on Thursday in the PG Battle of the South East. Defeating the Atlanta Braves Scout American 16U In Pitcher’s Duel

Both teams were strong on the bump on Thursday, but Medlock Monarchs 16U defeated Atlanta Braves Scout American 16U 2-0. Rolan Potts started the game for Medlock Monarchs 16U and recorded 21 outs.

Medlock Monarchs 16U got on the board in the fourth inning after Aidan Lesane singled, scoring one run.

Potts earned the win for Medlock Monarchs 16U. The hurler surrendered seven hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.

Lesane provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Medlock Monarchs 16U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Potts and Lesane each collected two hits for Medlock Monarchs 16U. Lesane stole two bases. Medlock Monarchs 16U turned two double plays in the game.
