We are excited to be a part of the FREE Climate Film Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center.

The two-day festival kicks off on Friday night with a “meet the artist” networking night and features the film ‘The Tree Economy’ by a local DeKalb filmmaker which explores the tension between urban development and Atlanta’s massive tree canopy. The celebration continues on Saturday with a series of short films, as well as a showcase from exhibitors such as the Planning & Sustainability Department!

All community members are invited to attend the Decatur Terrace Public Open House on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, 5:30-7:30pm, at the DeKalb County Government Service Center, 178 Sams Street, Decatur, GA 30030. (Please allow time for building security.)

This drop-in event will provide community members the opportunity to review draft recommendations, share feedback, and have one-on-one conversations with the planning team.

E.M.B.A.R.C. Youth Farm's 4th Annual Fall Festival Celebrate the Season with our Community Fall Festival
