Bates Farm is hosting a *Bowhunter Prep Shoot August 15–16, 2026*!

📌 *Location: Bates Farm* at 343 Conway Rd, Decatur, AL 35603
🕖 *First card out:* 7:00 AM
🕔 *Last card out:* 3:00 PM
(both days)
💰 *Cost: $25* for the entire 20 target range round
🎯 *Range: 20 target* 3D archery course
💰 *Format: 1 stake / 1 class*
💵 *50% Payout:* Payouts based on attendance (5 shooters = 1st place only, 10 shooters = 1st-2nd, 15 shooters = 1st-3rd, etc.)

✅ *Score & Targets:* Shots will be *from the same stake* with *yardage marked*. (Bring your best - 50 to 80 yard shots!)

🔥 *Turkey Shoot:*
- *Hit the 12 ring = FREE ROUND*

🎲 *Bionic Deer Shoot:*
- *Every participant gets 1 raffle entry for a $100 Bates Farm gift certificate*

🍿 *Food Available for Purchase:* Snacks, hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas, ice cream, coffee, popcorn

🥒 Pickle Making Workshop | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Master the basics of water bath canning and craft your own custom jars of crisp dill or bread & butter pickles to take home.

🤎 Elderberry Syrup Workshop | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Learn how to brew, blend, and bottle your own immune-boosting elderberry syrup using wholesome, natural ingredients just in time for the cooler months.

Note: Both of these workshops are eligible for the Alabama Choose Act!
