Leucine, an animal based amino acid, has been identified as the contributor to heart disease! I am not against those who consume animal based protein but I am an advocate for plant based eating!

Heart health: Eating too much protein can raise atherosclerosis risk Researchers people who take in more than 22% of their daily diet from protein run a higher risk of atherosclerosis. They note that some daily protein is necessary for overall health.
