Tonight at the Studio
For the past three weeks, our space has been rumbling and murmuring - alive with breath, sound, and imagination as Jean Carla Rodea—our first 2025 Dresher Ensemble Artist Residency— as she shaped her new work “Brume”, a commission from the brilliant Splinter Reeds combining their virtuosity with Jean Carla’s amazing electronic sonic palette. We can’t wait to hear the finished work!

Hey Splinter fam! We are having a blast at the 2024 Taproot Festival so far!

TOMORROW night we will premiere new works for reed quintet by Trey Makler, Phillip Sink, Shahrzad Talebi, and Zoë A. Wallace, alongside works by Zachary James Watkins and Niloufar Nourbakhsh.
