The Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team at UC Davis AMAT is an engineering design team at the University of California, Davis.
We build large remote controlled aircraft capable of performing tasks while meeting competition specifications. We utilize education, experience and teamwork in a environment designed specifically for students to apply their theoretical application to real world applications.

Anyone interested in joining AMAT should come to our first general meeting on 10/13 at 5:10pm in Bainer 1062 where we will be discussing this years challenge and offering sign ups for each section.

All the hard work and dedication in AMAT this year payed off. Great job to everyone! Our plane, "Taranis", is named after the Celtic God of thunder. He will be flying high above the competition this Friday in Van Nuys, CA
