What a fun way to celebrate a little one on the way! Thank you Courtney Barrett for hosting this alcohol-free event. Your April wedding was our first booking of 2025 and you completed our season with this baby shower! The barn is very versatile and can be rented on an hourly basis for small birthday, graduation or retirement parties, anniversaries and bridal or baby showers. We have chairs and tables on site and tableware along with linens-or you can bring in your own. We also allow outside catering. DM me to check availability and rates!

WHAT AM I DOING ALL DAY??? 

The first thing I do is check in. How are you? Do you need anything?  If the venue is large, I’ll hand you a walkie-talkie so that you  can get a hold of me no matter where I’m,  or what I’m doing.  If the wifi or cell service isn’t reliable - you can always get me on the walkie talkie. 

Next up I put Linens on the guest tables and we begin to steam. Double checking chair counts as we go.

Then I move on to the place settings. I set up one setting of China, flatware and stemware so that the catering team will have clear direction when they arrive. 

I’ll set up all areas of the venue.  The guest book table, the memory table, the dessert table, the cake table, the bar. If you’re  serving pre ceremony welcome drinks or champagne - I’ll set up what I can prior to your bartenders arrival. 

I try to do a few quick check ins to make sure that you are in a good space - eating, staying hydrated - I know it’s a long day for you - and then I’m back to the reception area to finalize the tables and the seating chart. Making sure all vendors are where they are supposed to be. 

I work with your florist in placing the centerpieces and bud vases. The placement of the candles, the flowers and the decor are really well thought out. I spend my time placing these items in the best locations on the table. Not too close to the water glasses, flowers not too close to where a candle might burn them. I really try to take my time so that later, when your guests are seated for dinner - they are wowed by every little detail in front of them. 
 
Then.. when it’s time to get married and the guests have arrived - We move on to the ceremony. Everyone’s in place. Deep breaths. This is what we rehearsed. YOU ARE MARRIED … and  I am welcoming your guests with drinks and the party begins. 
 
This is such a huge reflection of the year long planning that we have done together. Making sure your vision comes to life. That your guests are having the best time. That’s my priority. At the end of the day I want you to feel like this has truly been the best day ever. 

If I am not by your side the entire day, please know that I am where I am supposed to be. 12/03/2025
