The 11D building project may be on hold, but the mission hasn't changed! The Davis Dance Project 2023 brings together multiple artists, musicians, choreographers, poets, directors, and cinematographers, collaborating together! Join us this weekend!

There are many important ways that the $19.7 million can be spent and helping to move this innovative community project forward would be truly wonderful! For those of you who might need some background, the plans were going through Plan Check at the City when Covid hit... I was also dealing with a $2 mil shortfall in funding due to increased construction costs (related to the fires) Access to these funds could make this innovative project a reality for our community and support multiple businesses, individuals, and organizations, as well! Your support is needed!

It's been a while since I've posted updates on the Life in 11D project. Like everything else, it got put on hold during the pandemic. There's a meeting tonight that will explore how to use the money from the American Rescue Plan. I'll be looking to see if it can help move the project forward from the currently undeveloped field to the design created by so many individuals, businesses, and organizations in our community. American Rescue Plan Meeting--October 13, 7 p.m.
The City of Davis announced that it will hold a community meeting on Zoom on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding and Davis’ allocation. All community members are welcome to attend.

This year the Davis Dance Project is all about using dance (in an appropriately socially distanced and safety protocol focused way) to celebrate the resilience and strength of the Davis community. What makes Davis...Davis? That's the focus of this year's Davis Dance Project :-) Right now (Step #1) the PTDT is gathering information from as many people as they can about their Davis favorites and so we're asking YOU...What are your favorite things about our town?
You can respond two different ways: 1) Write it in the chat below or 2) Send us an email at [email protected]... Just make sure to put "Davis Dance Project 2021 in the subject line" :-) We will collect your answers up to, and including, Sunday, February 14... then we move to Step #2 :-)
