Watermelon Music
We are proud to be a true "full-line" and family friendly music store
The big guy from out West with larger than life energy (he’s also 6’5’, the great grandson of August Ringling of the Ringling Bros Circus and related to Ma Barker of the infamous Barker Gang), guitarist, singer, banjoist, songwriter, composer, entertainer, musical historian and teacher, Mitch Polzak wears his heart on his sleeve and his playing in his heart. Mitch was inducted into The Western Swing Hall Of Fame in 2024 and has been twice nominated for The Ameripolitan Music Awards.
Polzak performs Rockabilly, H***y Tonk, Surf, Bluegrass, Western Swing, and Cajun music stateside and abroad. Mitch performs with the religious fervor of Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash, and delivers a H***y Tonk ballad with the sincerity of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Polzak will bring a room to a fevered pitch of joyous energy on the dance floor and then tell you a story in a song like two old friends sitting at a kitchen table at midnight.
He has released 8 albums, 5 on his own label Polzak Productions and 3 on the Spanish based Sleazy Records.
Presented by Left of the Dial and KDRT.

Weird Harold returns to the Melon Ball this summer for one night only!
How does one describe Weird Harold? They've engaged and befuddled local audiences since the 1990's with their loud, raucous, hard-rockin', quirky, hilarious, energetic, entertaining, indie alternative ear worms, such as "I Drive a Monster Truck," "I Ruined Your Birthday," "I've Got a Bad Rash," and the Steinbeck "Of Mice and Men"-inspired "Be My Bunny." Count on an evening of high-energy, seventh-grade style double entendre potty humor, and head-boppin,' eye-poppin' entertainment! Weird Harold cannot be explained, only experienced, and no two shows are the same, even if they perform the same set. They're an act not to be missed.
Check out Weird Harold's sold-out two-night performance at the Melon Ball from December 2025!

Nigel Wearne saunters after dark in the music of the night, blending blues, jazz and Americana-noir. Hailing from Gunditjmara country in the deep south of Australia, he’s a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist with diverse influences such as Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Rickie Lee Jones.
Nigel has played some of the world’s most prestigious music festivals, including Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, MerleFest, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Adelaide Guitar Festival (AUS), 30A Songwriters Festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion and the Cambridge Folk Festival (UK). In 2025, he won the Telluride Blues Challenge at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
His sophomore album, ‘Black Crow’ garnered wide critical acclaim including a 4-STAR review in Rolling Stone, a nomination for Best Country Album at the Music Victoria Awards and it debuted at #1 on Australia’s AMRAP Charts. His 2023 album, ‘The Reckoning’ received back-to-back nominations for Best Blues Work at the 2023 & 2024 Music Victoria Awards and a 4-STAR review in The Australian. 2025 marked a return to his roots as a folk songwriter with his latest album ‘The Lone Reckoning’. A raw, emotive, stripped back rendition of his 2023 award-nominated album ‘The Reckoning’.
A deep thinker and truth seeker with a penchant for all things peculiar, he sings of human frailty, grace and the cosmos; songwriting that cuts to the bone.

When Kanye West shared Mike Glazer’s joke, he thought his life was about to change. And it did, in the worst way imaginable, until Taylor Swift’s Swifties saved his life.
Mike Glazer is chaotic good: a twisted, endearing storyteller like an evil Mike Birbiglia. He wishes the following weren’t true, but he has the receipts to prove it — before becoming a comedian, Glazer was a strip-club–sponsored roller hockey goalie who almost became an Olympian, nearly became an astronaut for British royal billionaires, shared his phone number with the entire world in a horribly stupid prank, and somehow became the CIA for a month, which sucked.
If you’ve ever wanted to hear the words, “so the Swifties were battling the Nazis,” come to this show. As Kanye said, “it’s good deal.”
