Happy Birthday to Sam Decker!!

Finishing off our trilogy of OTR members named Sam is our very own Sam Decker. Sam is going into his 2nd year of OTR and his 4th at the UO. Sam is an amazing classical singer and a blast to spend time with. Sam’s talent, fun personality, and charm is part of what makes OTR such a fun group to be a part of. We all love you and are so happy to have you in the group. Yay Sam!!

Our third sendoff is Adem!

Being one of two members to have given 5 years to the group, Adem knows more than anyone what it means to be in OTR. Not only is Adem incredibly talented and hard working, but he brings so much life to the group that wouldn’t have been there otherwise. OTR isn’t just rehearsing and performing, we’re all good friends. We go on retreats, play games, go out to eat, or just hang out. Its members like Adem that really help bring that social aspect out and make new members feel welcome. The musicianship and life Adem brought to this group is one of a kind. These are some big shoes to fill. We will miss you so much next year!

The second rock we’re saying goodbye to is our very own Mason Calcagno!

Mason just Graduated with a Degree in accounting and plans on moving back up to Portland to start working as a Tax associate for CLA. Mason is reliable, talented, and such a great person to be around. He’s always there for you to talk to or just hang out. Having also served as our travel manager, Mason is an incredibly hard worker and knows how to balance that work with fun. We all love Mason and will miss him so much next year. PLEASE come visit us next year at OTR events!

Thank you for being a part of our group Mason!

Now that school is over, it’s time to say goodbye to our graduating members. First up is Jackson!

Jackson just completed his degree in business at the University of Oregon. Though we’ve only had Jackson in the group this past year, we’ve still made some unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. A huge part of OTR is not just the music we make, but the presence we try to bring to every performance. Jackson knows exactly what it means to be present and lively on stage. An amazing performer and friend who brings life to every room he walks into, we will miss him very much next year. We hope to see you around at OTR events in the future!

Thanks for the memories Jackson!

HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY TO SAM BERTHOLF

Sam is going into his 3rd year in OTR and is our current music director! Sam is an amazing musician, teacher, and friend. He is kind, professional, and has great leadership skills. It takes a lot to lead a music rehearsal for a guys acappella group and we all appreciate the work Sam puts in to make that happen. Happy birthday from OTR!

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY ADAM!

Adam is in his first year in OTR having just joined us this last spring term. With the end up the school year coming up fast there was a lot of catching up to do for the new members and Adam displayed amazing musicianship and dedication. Adam is easy to get along with, hard working, and has a very contagious laugh. We’re so happy to have him in the group and wish him a very happy birthday!

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO SAM GORDIN!!!!

A third (going on fourth) year rock, Sam is kind, super talented, and an incredible person to be around. Sam is also our Finance Chair which has been incredibly helpful this year considering the amount of gigs we’ve had. Beyond his responsibilities in OTR and most importantly, Sam is an amazing friend who genuinely cares for the people he surrounds himself with. We’re so happy to have him in the group and wish him the best 21st!
