We also want to thank everyone for coming to our track day this last Saturday - we had a blast seeing FE10 drive around, and FRUCD released a special edition
1:64 scale model of our car in honor of our track day.*

*We didn't really, but that would be cool to have one day.

We are blown away by the generosity of our supporters and the speed with which vou have helped us reach our $2,000 goal. We are aiming higher and are so excited to announce our new stretch goal of $3500! Every donation brings us closer to our goal of bringing a successful car to competition this year. In honor of this achievement we will be highlighting another member of our team, Conor Stoneman!

Conor is a fourth year Mechanical Engineering Major and is this years Controls Lead. He handles crucial parts of our car like the pedal box and steering. Last summer, Conor had the opportunity to intern at Tesla as an Equipment Engineering Intern in Model S/× Casting. We are so glad to have him as a core member of FRUCD. Thank you Conor!

We are so excited to announce that we have already made it to 75% of our fundraising goal with 17 days left! FRUCD doesn't just build cars, we build people. Therefore, in light of this campaign, we are highlighting 10 special members of team to celebrate their achievements and how FRUCD got them to where they are now.

Today's member highlight is Leo Janzen, our Electrical Lead. Leo is a fourth year Electrical Engineer Major and this is his fourth year on the team. Leo helps with everything, from building our accumulator subpacks to handling all the electrical boards on the car. It is safe to say our car would not run without Leo. His experiences gave him the opportunity to intern with Gecko Robotics Inc. this past summer. There is no doubt Leo has bright prospects for the future for the electrical engineering industry. Thank you Leo for everything you do!

Formula Racing at UC Davis for 2023 Crowdfund is Now Live! Help us reach our goal of $2000 this year.

Your contributions will provide the resources to build a winning cars, but more importantly will foster the next generation of engineering talent.
