Memorial weekend was well spent with friends and family. I was lucky enough to enjoy a gorgeous day in the sun with my momma and little niece Arizona! This was this sweet girls first time as visiting royalty with her new title. I could not be more proud of how her and Gracie handled their first big event together. I am extremely thankful to my momma who is always supplying me with safe and reliable horses!

To round out the extremely busy weekend I was able to stop by the last performance of the Gold Country Pro Rodeo! This is another rodeo that I am particularly excited to attend as there is always so much to do. I enjoyed my day immersed in the community, from selling cold water in the stands to helping out with the coin dig and the mutton busting. There was also plenty of time to mingle with the many other visiting royalty and help carry flags in the arena. Thank you for having me GCPRA I will always cherish my visits each year I’m able to attend!

The weekend just kept getting more exciting, Saturday myself and all four of the little misses were lucky enough to meet up at the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. While we were there you guessed it we all got to kiss us some frogs!! I absolutely love this tradition and I’m so happy each of the girls agreed to join me. After the girls and I left the frog barn I was able to catch up with some old friends and definitely make some new ones. I’m very partial about this rodeo as it’s one of my favorites to attend. Thank you for having me Calaveras Rodeo Queens it was a pleasure getting to know the both of you better!

Tonight I headed up to the first performance of the Penn Valley rodeo. This felt like such a full circle moment as this is where my rodeo queen journey began, in 2017 I competed for my first title and since then I’ve clearly been hooked! It was definitely surreal being back as Miss CCPRA and so awesome to see lots of familiar faces in the community. Thank you for the special memories Penn Valley rodeo you will always be close to my heart!

Tonight was the kick off for the Gold Country Pro Rodeo. I always enjoy seeing so many familiar faces and mingling with the crowd. While I was there I was lucky enough to introduce myself to the crowd and take lots of photos! I can’t wait to get this busy weekend of rodeo started, I’ll be back Sunday for the last day of the rodeo!

Mother’s Day at the Cottonwood rodeo was one to remember! Although I did start out on Gracie halfway through the performance I decided to give her a break and debuted one of my home raised geldings Hank. While Hank has been to many rodeos outside of the arena this was his first time stepping into the arena as a Queen mount and let me tell you I could not have been more proud of his quiet mind and eagerness to please! I look forward to taking him more performances as he loved the job of being a Queen horse.

Last night I spent the evening at the Miss Gold Country Pro Rodeo Queen pageant. The night was nothing less than exciting, it was wonderful to see each of these contestants put all of their hard work out on the stage and give it their all! The evening started with contestant introductions followed by modeling, speech, and impromptu. I was also lucky enough to run into so many familiar faces, it was just so fun to catch up with everyone throughout the night. I am so excited to watch these ladies compete in horsemanship this upcoming Thursday!

Tonight I had the opportunity to judge the poise and personality portion of the Miss Cottonwood Rodeo Queen competition. It was so lovely to get to know each of these contestants a little bit better throughout the night. I absolutely had a blast spending Ladies night out with so many amazing women!

Coarsegold Rodeo Royalty sure knows how to make a girl feel special! I had the privilege to spend Friday and Saturday under the arena lights with some amazing gals. Night 1 we kicked off with the kids parade where we displayed our patriotism, it was so fun getting to interact with these kiddos of the community. Next we went into grand entry where we were welcomed by the most enthusiastic crowd. I was told this weekend was the highest attendance crowd they have ever received! I enjoyed the rest of the performance on my best girl we were lucky enough to get a sponsor flag in between pushing calves. I always love getting to do something a little different while carrying a flag! Night 2 I got to wear my favorite shirt that my momma and I spent hours collaborating on. It’s always really special to me when someone likes something her and I created especially since this is a new hobby of ours. The performance was smooth as ever throughout the night and I was so happy to get to know the current royalty better, thank you very much again Julianna McCahill for every ounce of your help this weekend I could not have navigated it without your help! All In all I will have to say the 73rd Coarsegold Rodeo knows how to put on a show.

The St Jude’s rodeo was all sorts of excitement! Starting the night off strong we had a TON of gritty mutton busters, these kiddos were so exciting to watch as they toured the arena with their wild rides. Then Gracie and I went to work pushing calves and steers. I always enjoy riding this mare her and I have become quite the team, thanks for the ride Gracie girl. I cannot think of a better way to end the month, thank you also for having me St Jude’s rodeo I enjoyed every moment!
