Happy Saturday!! We’re exhausted and crazy hot but free time was fun!
This is a long way from excitedly charging me and nearly knocking his food dish out if my hands when he first got here!
Moonshine went home today but here is a video of him being super gentle with Aurora. Aurora is very timid when greeting people or animals so this was a great test for Moonshine.
When he came here he was quite a tank but he has learned other dogs are more prone to play with him if he is not so pushy.

Worked hard this morning, had a good breakfast, a little play/place time and he was down for the count.

My husband is banging around replacing window balances and making lots of startling noises and Moonshine has had enough.

Moonshine is such a stubborn boy! Here we are working place and he is determined not to lay down. It took him a ridiculous amount of time to realize he was working harder than he had to before he finally gave in and laid down. 😂

Putting the dogs on leash and walking them around the hot tub ledge allows us to work on multiple things at once. It’s a great way to work on proper heel position, strengthen self-esteem/confidence, introduce the up and off commands, and helps incorporate the idea of slowing down and thinking things through.

The face of a little boy about to do something he knows is wrong and the face of a little boy who decided he did not care. Yes this is clearly one of the things moonshine is here to work on, he does love to jump! Yesterday was his first day of training but with guidance he will get it figured out.
