Under construction in University Park, our latest project for marks a significant reimagining of a Dallas institution. This transformative renovation doubles the area of the second level, where an office expansion creates the footprint necessary to grow their Patek Philippe presence and introduce a new ballroom for exclusive special events. By blending a restrained palette of limestone and stucco with intricate bronze geometries, we aim to reinforce deBoulle’s enduring legacy and position within the city’s luxury landscape.

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating OMNIPLAN’s 70th Anniversary alongside many of the clients, partners, and colleagues who have contributed to our work over the years. 
 
The evening also honored Tip Housewright and his lasting impact on the firm for more than four decades. His leadership has helped define not only who we are, but how we approach design, collaboration, and community. 
 
It was a meaningful evening to reflect on our legacy and look ahead to what comes next.

Set within a dramatic 40-foot grade change in San Antonio, our La Cantera project is taking shape. Rather than fighting the terrain, the design works with it. Three residential volumes step down the hillside, connected by layered amenity spaces, circulation, and dwelling units that tie the community together. The result is aimed to be both grounded and dynamic, framing views while responding directly to the land. Located near The Rock at La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, this in-progress community is shaped as much by its topography as by its place.

Another successful Form Follows Fitness 5K in the books!

As OMNIPLAN marks its 70th anniversary, we are reflecting on the work that has shaped our legacy over seven decades of practice. To celebrate this milestone, we’re introducing a new social media series highlighting select projects that have defined our firm’s history. We begin with Citizens Bank Tower—a landmark project that embodies the vision, discipline, and enduring design values that continue to guide OMNIPLAN today.

The interior experience of the Dallas Leadership Foundation reflects the building’s exterior logic. The solid-and-void composition translates into moments of compression and release, where natural light is carefully framed to shape gathering spaces, circulation, and leadership offices. On the second level, preserved trees along the east edge of the site allow workspaces to feel as if they float among the canopy—connecting the interior environment to its natural context while reinforcing the mission-driven clarity of the organization.

These design studies explore a confidential office building within a larger mixed-use development in Oklahoma City. The concept stacks three levels of office above four levels of structured parking, with active retail grounding the street edge. To juxtapose the weight and texture of the red brick wrapping the garage, the office above is expressed as a contemporary, more refined volume of metal panel and glass. A prominent glass corner addresses the park that anchors the development, reinforcing the relationship between workplace, light, and the public realm.

Located in Celina, TX, The Trails Church is anchored by a stone-clad sanctuary that establishes a strong and enduring presence on the site. An all-glass lobby creates a clear, light-filled connection between the sanctuary and the children’s area, serving as a transparent threshold into the building. Inside, the sanctuary is defined by exposed timber trusses, a wood ceiling, and an abundance of natural light, creating a space that is both grounded and uplifting.
