Today, our team stepped away from our usual work to pack meals alongside hundreds of other volunteers at the Unite for Good event in recognition of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. ❤️

This year carries particular significance as we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. We remember the lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of so many, and reflect on the remarkable spirit of unity and service that emerged in the days that followed.

It felt especially meaningful to spend today alongside people from across our community, turning remembrance into action by helping provide meals for neighbors in need.

At Reading Partners, we see every day what can happen when people give their time in service to others. Today was another powerful reminder that, even 25 years later, showing up for one another is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor this day.

“For weeks, nothing seemed to click. Then it finally did, and my student nailed every sound, every single time,” says Abby Wilkinson, a Reading Partners North Texas tutor.
