The Texas Region, chartered in 1955, was the original chapter established for the great state of Texas and remains the official, registered name.

To better assist visitors, the nickname “DFW” was introduced. The purpose of this club, the Texas Region, AACA shall be to supplement the activities of the Antique Automobile Club of America and to provide enjoyment for all members residing within the boundaries of this Region.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of club member Debra Mahanna. Al sent us this message “Debra passed away this morning Saturday May 30th with her children and grandchildren, and me in hospice at her daughter’s home in Miami where we had her in Hospice.” Our thoughts and prayers are with Al and his family. Thank you Debra for your friendship. I will miss our Disney chats!

Bob Gidney - late Texas Region member - used to own this building. The business was called Merry Melodies. He and Charlie Sr would hunt for jukeboxes. Bob would restore and sell them. He had a DeSoto roadster. We are here in West for the 72nd Texas Tour
