Through my work with , and I also led workshops for Dallas County probation officers, giving them a deeper understanding of the impact and purpose behind our summer program, Creative Solutions. It’s been a meaningful experience helping them express themselves through painting and guiding them in creating their own album covers after the purposeful songwritting class by Pakco.
This will be my fourth year with the program, and I’m excited to continue teaching art, building connections, and learning alongside the youth we serve!
Thank you for supporting my ideas and always giving us space to be who we are.

Eu agradeço a Deus todos os dias pelas bênçãos que tenho na minha vida. Mais um ano de conquistas e glorias.
Agradeço a todos ao meu redor: os que permanecem, os que chegaram agora e os que nunca saíram.
Vivona e vivendo ✨

was a CRAAAAAAAZY this year!!! OMG
Between mental breakdowns, doubts about being an artist, finishing a degree, lesson plans, and rebuilding my life… I’m still here. Showing up for myself.
Painting again, creating, planning , and making space for what’s coming!
Evrything is temporary

I still struggle to paint for myself. Grief is no joke.
My paintings are never planned, they are 100% born from my feelings and life experiences, freestyle
I was never “a painter.”
I always said drawing was my thing… painting wasn’t. Ironic, I know.
One day, a student asked me:
“Have you ever done a self-portrait?”
I paused.
And then I realized:
all my paintings are self-portraits.
They are moments of my life… every time I change my hair,
the way I see myself, the way I feel about life and about me.
Hearts up or down.
Full or empty.
Blood red or pure black.
Color, no color, monochromatic… just like living.
This canvas, like many moments of my life, was something else before. I did not like it.
Then I sprayed over it. I painted over and BAM ! here it was.
The old illustration is still there, like everything else that already happened with me, however I painted someone else, nicer and prettier
Mac Miller and Ab-Soul were playing.
“ there ain’t nothing wrong with a little bit of fun.”
And then a gift from a friend echoed in my mind:
“Always keep love in your heart” - that is its name
thank you if you read all this…
