📸 I didn’t bring home a ribbon this year — but I brought something better.

I brought intention.
I brought courage.
I brought my voice into the light.

This year, I entered these four pieces into the State Fair of Texas Creative Arts Photography contest. And while I didn’t place, I’m not walking away empty-handed.

Every shutter click taught me something.
Every framing decision sharpened my perspective.
Every entry was a step toward the photographer—and person—I’m becoming.

✨Sometimes you win.
✨Sometimes you learn.
✨But the real win? Showing up with heart.

I’ll be back next year—more refined, more intentional, and more committed to the vision God’s placed on my heart.

If you’re holding a “loss” today, I hope you remember:
This isn’t failure. It’s feedback.
Learn from it. Rise with it. Try again—with purpose.

What a beautiful experience my friend and I had at Freshly Cut Stems as we picked flowers & took a few photos for her gender reveal!
What an absolutely beautiful garden, we got to assemble our flowers in our vases and the staff were amazing too!

Today, I made an intentional choice to complete some white space time on my calendar. This is 2 hours minimum, it's precious time where I pause the planning, producing, and serving. What a refreshing reset it turned out to be! Not only did it rejuvenate my spirit, but it also sparked creative capture of these beautiful butterflies. What a gift!

Creative Kind was able to participate in assisting with the décor for a friends Quinceañera. I happened to capture a few beautiful moments, as she viewed all the décor.

I had the most special moment, capturing a frozen pond near our property. I love how this image came out.

I had a blast today, doing a rustic photo shoot for some long time Texas residents, my parents!

Captured this Wood Nymph Brush Footed Butterfly fluttering amongst the trees a few weeks back. So stunning.
