We are officially one month away from the Gala on November 6th! The countdown continues as we get closer celebrating half a century of advocacy, communication access, and empowerment.

As Mary McDermott retired from interpreting on September 30, 2026, we are celebrating more than an extraordinary individual.

We are celebrating , an intertwined legacy of advocacy, communication access, and empowerment. These are the values that have also shaped DAC and our community throughout our 50-year history.

Join us at the State Fair of Texas! 🎡

Billy, our Senior Citizens Activity Coordinator, is bringing our Deaf 60+ community together for a fun day at the fair! Come say hi and enjoy fair food, rides, and plenty of DST (Deaf Standard Time) chats with us.

DAC is providing free round-trip transportation from DAC to the State Fair of Texas (and back) for Deaf community members aged 60+. Seats are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in our van! Email us by Friday, October 2 to sign up. See yall at the fair!
