Texas Baptists

Conclave 2026 did not disappoint! We had such a wonderful time as we gathered for worship, encouragement and fellowship to learn how to minister to the next generation.

Thank you, ministers, for your commitment to living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission in Texas and beyond through your ministry!

During the final session of Conclave, Al Curley III, GC2 navigator for Area 8 (Dallas) with Texas Baptists, shared a message encouraging attendees to incorporate more joy into their ministry.

During main session 3, Christopher Yuan, creator of the The Holy Sexuality Project, encouraged us to live and minister out of our identity in Christ.

To close out day 1 of Conclave, Amy Davison, apologist with Mama Bear Apologetics, challenged us to unapologetically follow Christ in a world that is constantly trying to draw us away from the truth.

During the first session of Conclave, Jonathan Williams, executive director of Gospel Family Ministries and lead pastor of Wedgwood Baptist Church, shared a message on the importance of staying spiritually healthy while you lead the next generation to genuinely love Jesus.

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!" - Isaiah 6:8

We have an important update that you need to know for this year's Annual Meeting!

This year, we'll likely conduct some business voting via SMS/text messaging for real-time votes and to streamline the process. Each messenger registered by a church will need to provide a unique mobile phone number and opt in in order to vote on these motions.
