Soaking in the sun this Sunday 💙
look back at pictures of myself at 22, 25, 28… and I can still remember what I was thinking in those moments. It usually wasn’t “I look pretty.” It was noticing every little thing I wanted to fix.
And honestly, it makes me sad sometimes because I spent so many years being hard on myself instead of just living. Instead of being present. Instead of enjoying where I was, who I was with, and who I already was becoming.
What I know now is that taking up space isn’t something you have to earn. You don’t have to shrink yourself to deserve love, confidence, joy, or a seat at the table.
