Y’all! Somebody come get my husband! He sent me an outlook appointment entitled “Annual Wife Review” on our anniversary date! He is taking accountability too far. He knows how much I thrive in a high performance environment. 😂

All jokes aside! I hope I have been half as wonderful of a spouse as he has been in our first year of marriage. I look forward to my performance review over the last 365 days. ❤️🎉🥰

What an adventure it’s been! My family officially said goodbye to Texas and hit the road for a cross-country journey to our new home in Washington state. The road trip itself was stunning—we saw so much beauty along the way. Now, we’re here, surrounded by the incredible scenery of the Pacific Northwest, and we couldn’t be more excited. I am looking forward to new connections and friendships in the Seattle/Tacoma area! Here’s to new beginnings and a beautiful life in the PNW!

My favorite moment on the trip so far was the Four Corners Monument. It was 96 degrees in the middle of the desert but it was perfect. Leading up to this moment Tristen was reminding me how I used to look at maps when he was a kid a point to this place. I used to tell him one day we would go here and stand in 4 states at once. I am not sure why I let it take so long to get here but hearing him talk about it and sharing it with my family was something special. My heart is full. ❤️

When one of your besties invites you to Afternoon Tea and it turns out to be one the Dallas experiences. Why am just now doing this right before moving??? Thank you, Karen for spending a wonderful Sunday afternoon with me.

We didn’t win the silent auction that I wanted for but it was a worthy cause.

I can’t believe my baby is 13! His voice is changing and he is getting hairier by the day. Trace is shaping up to be so funny. His sense of humor and wit are starting to really show. He had a great day today. He woke up beaming with pride because he is an official teenager. To all the parents out there, cherish every moment. It goes so quickly. Happy Birthday Trace! I love you! 😘
